Electronic cigarette users are often tinkerers by nature, and you may be tempted to disassemble the Lavatube electronic cigarette and take a closer look at the internal circuitry that makes it tick. We strongly recommend against doing this. You can always disconnect the atomizer or cartomizer connected to the top threading of the Lavatube, and you will occasionally need to remove the bottom end cap to remove the battery for charging or lubricate the threads. However, the top cap of the Lavatube electronic cigarette is sealed at the factory and you risk doing permanent damage to your Lavatube if you attempt to remove it.
The top cap of the Lavatube electronic cigarette protects the delicate electronics that carry the charge from the battery to the voltage booster and on to the atomizer connection, allowing the Lavatube to vaporize e-liquid. It also protects the microprocessor and circuitry that makes it possible to control the Lavatube and prevents conditions that can cause damage such as improper battery installation and over-current conditions. As you can see, the Lavatube holds a great deal of complicated electronics in spite of its low price. If you are experienced with electronics and want to mod the Lavatube in some way, you may be able to do so by prying the top cap off. However, doing this will void your warranty.
